The Floor profit card in Settings > General sets the least profit your team will accept on a deal. It's one number for the whole team.
Floor profit and floor price
- Floor profit — the dollar amount you set here, for example $5,000.
- Floor price — worked out for each deal: the deal's current contract price plus your floor profit. A deal with a $100,000 contract price and a $5,000 floor profit has a floor price of $105,000.
The floor price is never typed or saved on the deal. Change the contract price or the floor profit and every floor price follows right away.
Setting it
- Go to Settings > General.
- In the Floor profit card, enter an amount, like 5,000.
- Click or tab out of the box — it saves on its own.
Clear the box to remove the floor profit. Deals then show no floor price, and automators that compare an offer to it treat the comparison as not met.
Only team admins can change the floor profit. Everyone else on the team sees it read-only.
Where the floor price shows up
- The Dispo tab — under the Offers header, Floor price shows the amount with "Contract price + $5,000 floor profit" beside it. With no floor profit set, admins see Set a floor profit in Settings to see a floor price, which links here. A deal with no contract price shows "—". See Tracking buyer offers.
- Automator conditions — a Condition on the offer that started the run can compare the Offer amount to Floor price, so an offer at or above the floor can be accepted and a lower one can start a renegotiation. See Automator step types.
The floor price is for your team only. It isn't a merge field and never appears in an email to a buyer.
Common issues
- "Floor profit can't be negative" or "Use at most two decimal places" — enter a dollar amount of zero or more, with at most cents.
- The box is greyed out — only a team admin can change the floor profit.
- An automator won't publish: "Set your team's floor profit in Settings → General before using Floor price." — set a floor profit here first, then publish again.
