Email & Calendar, under Settings, connects your own Google or Microsoft account to TED. Every team member connects separately — there's no shared team mailbox.
What this does today
Connecting lets you send email from a deal or contact using your own address, and push key deal dates to your calendar. TED does not currently read your inbox — a reply someone sends you lands in your regular mailbox, not inside TED. See Missing or delayed emails for what that means day to day.
Connecting
Select Connect Google or Connect Microsoft. You're sent to that provider's consent screen; after you approve, you land back on "Completing your connection…", then "Connected" with your email address, or "Connection failed" with a reason if something went wrong.
Connection status
The badge next to Your Connection shows where things stand:
- Not connected — you haven't connected yet.
- Pending — you started connecting but didn't finish; select Connect again to pick up where you left off.
- Connected — shows the address you're connected as. Sending and calendar sync are active.
- Needs reconnect — your connection stopped working (often because access was revoked on the provider's side) and needs re-authorization. Select Reconnect to fix it; nothing sends or syncs until you do.
Disconnecting
Select Disconnect and confirm. This revokes TED's access to your email and calendar and removes any events TED had pushed to your calendar. You can reconnect at any time.
Calendar Sync
Below the connection card, Calendar Sync controls what gets pushed to your connected calendar — see Using the calendar for what it pushes and how to configure it. Its controls only become available once you're connected; until then it just tells you to connect first.
Automator emails from your mailbox
Also on this page: Automator Auto-Send, which controls whether automators can send certain emails straight from your mailbox instead of waiting for you to review them — see Reviewing and sending automator emails.
